Wide Lens Media is a boutique wedding filmmaking studio based in Brisbane, Queensland.
Hey! My name is Dan and I'm the owner of Wide Lens Media. I believe that there is more to weddings than just cake and flowers. I believe in capturing the raw emotion and the real moments that make you unique.
I want your wedding films to be timeless heirlooms that allow you to relive your big day over and over again.
All of my films are lovingly crafted in-house. I never outsource editing to third parties. So you can rest assured that every film I create resonates deeply with my couples, and is something that you will be able to cherish forever.
FILMMAKING PACKAGES
All of my packages are designed to keep things simple and stress free.
The best stories are told from start to finish, and that's why all of my packages include full day coverage. In film, the edit is as much an art form as the shoot, so I make sure that I have all the pieces needed to craft the most impactful film experience for you and your loved ones.
More than anything, I don't want you stressing about coverage limits on the big day. I'll fit in with you. The exact start and end times will be worked out over coffee, as we iron out the details. You just need to select the films you want to receive, and I'll make sure they're the best around.

WHAT TO EXPECT
1. Meet
Let's grab a drink and get to know each other! We can meet up via video chat as well if that's easier.
2. Book
Choose your film package and pay the booking deposit to reserve your date.
3. Scheduling
Two months out
We'll grab another drink and lay out the timeline for the day. I'll provide advice on where to allow time to make sure your films are as amazing as possible.
4. Remaining Fees
One month out
Any outstanding fees from the package you've selected will be due.
5. Your Wedding
Let's party!
6. Sneak Peek
Within one week
Your sneak peek is uploaded to your private wedding film site so you can share with friends and family and keep living that wedding high.
7. Remaining Films
Two to three months after
All remaining films are uploaded to your private wedding site where you can view, share and download.
8. USB Posted
Once everything is finalised
Custom engraved wooden USB is mailed to you with copies of each film so you can safely keep them for years to come.
FAQ
Where are you based and do you travel?
I’m based in Brisbane, Queensland but I can cover weddings anywhere you like. There may be a travel surcharge for weddings that are further than a two-hour drive from Brisbane CBD. Feel free to get in touch to discuss options if this describes you.
Can we meet?
Absolutely! I’d love to sit down for a coffee and get to know you. If that’s not possible, we can tee up a video chat or phone call.
How long will you be there on the day?
As long as needed! I put my soul into every wedding that I edit, and I really believe the best films cover the entire day. Beyond that, I like to keep things as simple as possible and give you one less thing to worry about. We’ll work out the exact start and end times when we grab a drink in the lead up to the big day.
How do we book?
Get in touch using the contact methods below and we'll check to see if I have availability on your wedding date. If so, I require a $500 booking deposit to reserve your date.
Can you recommend a good photographer?
Absolutely! Check out Hannah Redman Images for some of the best wedding photos around. Hannah is an absolute gem and you’ll love having her along for your wedding.
How will we receive our films?
You’ll get a link to your very own web page that contains all of your films. From here, they can easily be watched, downloaded and shared with friends and family. We’ll also send you a beautifully engraved wooden USB which will contain a copy of each of your films.
